Characteristics: Freshwaters, shallow and with a slow current. An herb with aquatic stems with floating apical rosettes, of which each has 15-20 rhomboidal and acute rosettes. Can be distinguished from other Callitriche by having fruit longer than ample, with rounded mericarps on the dorsal and lacking a wing.
