Characteristics: Gramineae found in the herb lands with wet, saline soils, forms a long spike with spikelets closely attached to the axis, resembling a sort of small, very slender, and rigid internodes, which is only slightly curved. For Parapholis incurva, a much more common species, the spike always has a greater curvature, even at times curled. Flowers at the end of spring and the beginning of summer.
