Characteristics: A succulent plant with normally a prostrate growth pattern that is characterized by the miniature water cells in the leaves that give the plant a shiny appearance. The stems ate brown with visible internodes. The leaves are cylindrical with a circular apex and not fused at the base. They have many flowers which emerge from short no terminal branches and the petals are a pale pink in colour. The fruits are supported by long and erect petioles.
