Characteristics: This plant has many branches that seem to emerge right form the base. Leaves are small and elongated. The upper portion of the branches tends to be slightly spiny. Have purple flowers on the upper part of the stems. This plant that is considered as subspecies ramosissima lives in the coastal dunes, and subspecies canina can be found in the island of Mallorca in the rocky zones of the coast and mountains.
