Habitats: Cultivated fields, path and road sides, disturbed zones. Path and road sides, disturbed zones.

Characteristics: A species which is very similar to an Allium with white flowers with a pinkish line in the middle, but we will set our minds at rest quickly because it does not have the characteristic smell of Allium. It has flat leaves nearly a centimetre in width. It lives along path-sides, and in gardens, since it is a naturalized plant form South America. It flowers during winter, in the month of February, and this allows us to distinguish it from most Allium species with white flowers which flower later on, in deep spring.
