Characteristics: A Graminea reaching great heights, with leaves that hang down, up to 3 m., with serrate borders. The yellowish, or at times even with a pinkish tone, is of great size and, as its name indicates, reminiscent of feathers. Can be often found grown as an ornamental and naturalized.

Observations: This species may have an invasive behaviour in natural areas, the Spanish Cantabrian Coast for example.
