Characteristics: A minute erect herbaceous plant that at best reaches no more than ten centimetres in height. It has a small rosette of leaves at its base, with leaves opposite attached to the stem. The flowers are solitary and have four yellow petals. Lives in wet acidic soils absent in carbonates. Flowers from May to June.
