A palnt common to saline soils, just as much I the wetlands as the littoral (rocky areas included; can form mono-specific communities or be associated with other bushy halophytic species of the same family (Sarcocornia fruticosa, Arthrocnemum macrostachyum, etc.) Is very common to the islets and the cliff faces of gull nesting areas.
