Characteristics: Forest clearings, moors, pastures' on silicic soils. A suffriticose bush with thin green, striated and at times radicant. The leaves are trifoliolate, dark green when viable, black when dry. The flowers are terminal and usually are in groups of 2-7. The calyx is tubular, pilose and bilabiate. The corolla is papillous and yellow. The pod (legume) is compressed and pilose.
