Characteristics: An herb that grows prostrate along the substrate like a moss, filiform (threadlike) stems and rounded leaves, the margin is regularly lobed, the margin more or less so. Flowers are yellow with five petals. Coincides with the same habitats as other species that have a similar leaf physiognomy, although the not the same for the flowers. Can be distinguished from Erodium reichardii, as the leaves of this latter species are longer that they are wide and are darker green in colour. Flowers during May and June.
